MAPNA group’s ability to address changing conditions and demands, find and serve diverse markets and expand its services has resulted in growth of the company far beyond its initial intentions. An engineering and economic core, therefore, established to analyze market potentials in electrification and energy storage systems. It resulted to found a new company in the group called “MAPNA Electrification and Energy Storage Development (MEEDCO)”.
An agreement between MEEDCO and a Chinese pioneer in building advanced li-ion battery manufacturing plants has been established in order to transfer all required knowledge and related Prerequisites. Nowadays, MEEDCO is fully equipped in mass production of li-ion batteries, advanced R&D laboratory, and electrification procedures especially for electric vehicles in Iran.
